Most games of the Harvest Moon series follow the storyline of the player’s character inheriting an old farm from their grandfather. Both companies have since released various games under their respective titles.
After Natsume’s distribution rights expired in 2014, they kept the rights to the name Harvest Moon and Marvelous changed the series’ name to Story of Seasons. Published under the name BokujouMonogatari: MineraruTaun no Nakami-tachiin Japan, and then distributing all over the US through Natsume. – the developer of the game – made for the Game Boy Advance in 2003.
